U.S. News & World Report ranked ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø New York a Top Performer on Social Mobility on its 2022-2023 Best Colleges list. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø College was ranked in the top 14% for social mobility among national universities.  Top performers in this category are more successful than other institutions at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of students awarded Pell Grants.Â
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has always welcomed students of diverse economic backgrounds and first generation students, while promoting educational excellence, leadership, and service throughout the university community. In addition, the University has been designated a Hispanic Serving Institution and Military Friendly.
This is the third time that the institution has been recognized for social mobility by U.S. News & World Report. However, it is the first time that ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is considered a national university in the rankings, since becoming ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø New York in May 2022.
