How to Apply

Please complete ourÌýonline application.Ìý International students are required to submit official transcripts from secondary schools, colleges, and/or universities in English.

Applicants who have attended an institution outside of the United States:

If you have completed, or are completing, secondary (high school), undergraduate and/or graduate degrees at institutions outside of the United States that are not regionally accredited institutions as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, you are required to submit a course-by-course translation and evaluation.ÌýºÚÁϳԹÏÍø will accept evaluations from any foreign transcript evaluator, but we have a special, preferred partnership with TEC (Spantran):

TEC (formerly SpanTran) is our recommended international transcript evaluation service. They have created a custom application for ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø New York that will ensure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate. You can access their application here:Ìý
  • Ìý
All of these NACESÌýorganizations provide several types of evaluations. Please select the "course-by-course evaluation" option to ensure your evaluation meets our requirements for admission review. If you wish to use a different evaluating service, please contact the Office of Admissions at internationalstudents@duny.eduÌýto determine what is accepted.

International applications are not considered complete without a course-by-course evaluation. The determination of degree equivalency to a U.S. degree is at the discretion of the University.

Once your file is complete, we will process and review your file for an admissions decision.

Applicants from countries whose official language is English or have been instructed in English may apply to the University as a test optional student. If your high school instruction was in English, you must provide a letter from your high school(s) stating such.
